The ceremony for launching the peak time promoting the population to join the movement of repaying good deeds, towards the 70th year anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (27th July 1947 – 27th July 2017) has just organized by the Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front in Hanoi.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan – Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front delivered an Appeal of the Presidium of Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front to call on the whole population to support the movement in three peak months.
Accordingly, every organization, every entity, every non-poor family should have a specific activity to help take care of families of martyrs, war invalids, families under preferential policies of the State. Also at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Cuong – Chairman of the Vietnamese General Confederation of Labour appeals to all of the members and trade unions in the entire country for actively executing the movement and organizing visits to the people who have contributed to revolutions, visits to martyrs’ relatives, Vietnamese heroic mothers.
In response to the appeal of the Central Committee of Vietnamese Fatherland Front and the Vietnamese General Confederation of Labour, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union has drawn VND 100 million from the Social Assistance Fund of Vietnam Electricity to donate to the Fund for Repaying Good Deeds. This donation shows the responsibility, affection, empathy and gratitude of employees of the power industry to the people who have contributed to revolutions.
