According to Mr. Uong Quang Huy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, the plan of 10,000 initiatives in Vietnam Electricity is in response to the 1 million initiatives program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, divided into 2 phases.
In the first phase (from February 14, 2022, to May 31, 2022), 2,400 initiatives of EVN officials, union members, and employees were successfully registered into the 1 million initiatives program. With this result, at the end of phase 1, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union completed the set goals and was among three leading units of the Trade Union Emulation Division of groups and corporations.
In the second phase, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union launched two special emulation campaigns, with the target of successfully registering 7,600 initiatives to complete 10,000 initiatives in the whole group.

With the results by the end of July 14, 2023, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union has reached the finish line 1 month earlier than the end of the entire 1 million initiatives program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (on September 1, 2023).
During the implementation, many units have made the drastic direction, and many initiatives have been updated, achieved, and surpassed the plan, such as Trade Unions of Hanoi Power Corporation; National Power Transmission Corporation; Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation; Power Generation Corporation 1; Central Power Corporation; Northern Power Corporation; grassroots trade unions of Son La Hydropower, Tri An Hydropower, Power Project Management Board 1, etc.
The Vietnam Electricity Trade Union shall organize a plan to evaluate, summarize, select, and reward individuals and collectives participating in the program on September 2023 to celebrate the VI Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, period 2023-2028.
