Bringing electricity to Lai Son Island

The first tower on land is in Xeo Nhau hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, An Minh District, Kien Giang Province, connecting line to transmit power across the ocean to Lai Son island commune.

The project of connecting the national power grid to Lai Son island commune, Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province is owned by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) and was commenced on 04 September 2015

The project covers the longest across-sea overhead 110 kV lines of Vietnam  (24.5 km), the first to be built on the coast of Kien Giang

Each tower foundation in the sea of ​​110 kV Xeo Nhau – Lai Son transmission line is constructed in a safe and good quality manner

Together with the construction contractors of 110 kV lines over the sea, the work of connecting the electrical system on the island is also rushing to be completed, ready to be connected to the national grid.

Representatives of the investors and of the contractors constantly keep being present on site, monitoring the quality and progress of the works.

By mid July 2016, most of the work items were completed, ready to "be finished" on time

When the national grid is connected, it is certain that Lai Son islanders will have a more prosperous and sufficient life
