This is a meaningful achievement marking the 51st anniversary of National Reunification Day and the 51st anniversary of EVNSPC’s establishment (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026). At the same time, it makes an important contribution to ensuring safe and reliable power supply, meeting the requirements of double-digit growth in the southern provinces and cities.

Providing strong direction and mobilizing all resources for construction
Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan, Vice President of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC), said that from the beginning of the year, the EVNSPC Party Committee issued Resolution No. 46-NQ/DU dated January 5, 2026, on focusing on comprehensively completing investment and construction tasks in 2026. In this resolution, the Party Committee and the leadership of EVNSPC determined that the target of completing the energization and safe operation of investment and construction projects on schedule and ahead of schedule is not only to improve the efficiency of capital use, increase the capacity to supply power to serve socio-economic development, national defense and security and people's lives, but also to meet the electricity demand for the double-digit growth target of the economy in 2026 and subsequent years. This is also a concrete action contributing to the implementation of the policy of practicing thrift and combating waste, which the Party and State are focusing on directing.
To achieve this target, from the beginning of the year, EVNSPC has concentrated all resources on investment and construction, considering this a key task in its management.
At the same time, solutions have been implemented in a flexible, coordinated, and decisive manner, including proactive coordination with local authorities and relevant agencies to update planning and address land clearance challenges, along with strengthened management across the entire project lifecycle, from contractor selection and contract administration to quality control and final settlement. EVNSPC also focuses on diversifying capital sources, optimizing investment costs, promoting the application of technology and digital transformation in management, Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan added.
