Director of Power Project Management Board No. 2 (EVNPMB2) Do Thanh Tai reported in detail on the progress of the Infrastructure Project and the Quang Trach I, II, and III Thermal Power Plant projects. Among the highlights are: Overall progress of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project has reached 97.69%. The units are focusing on synchronizing Unit 1 to the grid in early February 2026, progressing toward its commercial operation in May 2026.

In addition, the Quang Trach II LNG Thermal Power Plant Project is currently undergoing the EPC contractor selection process, which is expected to be completed in January 2026. For the Quang Trach III LNG Thermal Power Plant Project, the consultant is finalizing the feasibility study report along with relevant agreements and permits.

EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An set the top priority target of synchronizing Unit 1 of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant Project to the grid before February 15, 2026. Regarding Unit 2, EVN leaders requested that progress be accelerated "as soon as possible," with EVNPMB2 developing a detailed schedule and absolutely avoiding any delays.

EVN's leaders also emphasized the need to fully complete fire safety documents, environmental permits, and other legal procedures for the project. During project implementation, strict control over environmental protection and occupational safety is required, along with raising awareness of responsibility towards the surrounding community.

For the Quang Trach II and III LNG Thermal Power Plant projects, EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An directed Power Project Management Board No. 2 to promptly complete relevant documents and legal procedures to ensure readiness for project commencement.
