Double capacity of Yen My 220kV Substation (Hung Yen)

The National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the National Power Transmission Project Management Board (NPTPMB) in coordination with relevant units energized the second transformer of Yen My 220kV Substation at 19:05 on December 31, thereby doubling the capacity of the substation, enhancing power security for Hung Yen province.
The project is implemented within the premises of the existing Yen My 220kV Substation, located in Hoa Muc village, Hoan Long commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province.
The project scales installing 01 220/110/22kV-250MVA AT2 transformer; Installing 01 general bay of 220kV 220/110/22kV-250MVA AT2 transformer; installing 02 bays of 110kV line, and completing technical solutions to suit the new scale of the substation.
After completion, the project will contribute to ensuring a safe and stable power supply for Hung Yen province, increasing the ability to operate the national power system safely and stably.
The project of installation of the second transformer for Yen My 220kV substation is invested in by EVNNPT, managed and operated by NPTPMB, and operated by Power Transmission Company 1.
