On the morning of March 27 in Hanoi, EVN Vice President Ngo Son Hai received and held a working meeting with Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink – Member of the Board of Directors of The Asia Group (TAG), former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs (2021–2025) and former U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam (2017–2021).

At the meeting, Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink stated that The Asia Group aims to play a bridging role between foreign investors and EVN, supporting dialogue, information sharing, and enhanced coordination to facilitate the effective implementation of key energy and power infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
He expressed strong appreciation for EVN’s important role in ensuring national energy security through stable electricity supply and continued investment in the development of the transmission system. These efforts provide a solid foundation for industrial development, attract investment in key and high-technology projects, and promote a more sustainable economic restructuring.

On behalf of EVN, Vice President Ngo Son Hai shared an overview of EVN’s operational situation and development orientation in the coming period, emphasizing the Group’s goal of ensuring sufficient electricity supply to support double-digit economic growth.
EVN’s leadership also addressed several topics of interest raised by the TAG delegation. Both sides agreed to maintain communication and continue exchanges in the coming time.
