EVN and Lancang-Mekong International Energy Company deepen cooperation in the energy sector

On September 3 in Hanoi, Mr. Ngo Son Hai, Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), received and held a working session with Mr. He Ang, Vice President of Lancang-Mekong International Energy Co., Ltd. (CSG-LMI), to discuss cooperation in the energy sector.
Attending the meeting on behalf of CSG-LMI were Mr. He Ang – Vice President, Ms. Huang Jizhong – Deputy Chief Economist, Mr. Li Yafei – Head of Project Development, and Mr. Liu Bo – Deputy Chief Representative of the Vietnam Representative Office.
On the EVN side, the meeting was also joined by leaders from specialized departments of the Group, the Electricity Power Trading Company (EPTC), the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), and the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC).

During the session, both sides exchanged views on cooperation orientations in energy, clean energy, and new potential projects for the near future. Both parties emphasized mutual trust and appreciation for the effectiveness of their past cooperation, expressing a strong desire to further expand collaboration in various fields.
EVN Vice President Ngo Son Hai affirmed that EVN always attaches great importance to its partnership with CSG-LMI and is ready to work closely to implement concrete cooperative activities toward sustainable development.
Mr. He Ang expressed appreciation for the outcomes of bilateral cooperation and expressed confidence that the partnership between EVN and CSG-LMI would continue to be strengthened and developed, contributing to energy cooperation between Vietnam and China.
