EVN President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan chairing meeting
EVN President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that with the target of economic growth in 2025 striving to reach at least 8%, EVN must prepare a scenario for very high power growth, even up to 14%. EVN leaders requested EVN units to follow the EVN's direction; and closely monitor load forecasts, especially focusing on April, May, and June 2025, in which they regularly and continuously coordinate with NSMO so that NSMO can calculate optimal operating plans.
"Units also need to have a firm grasp of the State's policies to have effective implementation plans, such as policies for rooftop solar power, especially in the Southern region. In particular, pay special attention to the role of district and county-level power companies to have in-depth and timely information on power demand" - EVN President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan clearly stated.

Head of EVN Technical and Operation Department Le Viet Hung reporting at meeting
Reporting on the power supply situation in the first 3 months of 2025, the Head of the EVN Technical and Operation Department - Mr. Le Viet Hung said that the units in the whole EVN have been fully and seriously implementing the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the EVN Board of Directors. Overall, EVN and its member units have ensured power supply for the country's socio-economic development and the needs of the people.
In operation, hydropower plants maintain reservoir water levels by regulations. For coal-fired thermal power plants, inventory coal volume is sufficient to meet production needs, at the same time, the units are coordinating well with TKV and Dong Bac Corporation in implementing coal delivery contracts, ensuring inventory. Regarding oil and gas fuels, they also basically meet the demand for power production.
Recently, EVN has organized many delegations to inspect and urge the preparation of fuel, operation, maintenance, and repair, ensuring power for the 2025 dry season at the units. According to the records, the units are basically ready to meet the mobilization of NSMO.
