Many outstanding features
In 2025, amidst the volatile electricity market and fuel supply situation, EVNGENCO3 continued to maintain efficient production and business operations and achieved many positive results in production, finance, investment, science and technology, and corporate governance.
According to EVNGENCO3's report, in the past year, EVNGENCO3's total power production reached 23.22 billion kWh, equivalent to 104% of the plan assigned by EVN. The power plants operated safely and reliably, meeting the national power grid's mobilization requirements and ensuring flexible operation in the context of increasing renewable energy, contributing to the stability of the power system.
Alongside its power production mission, EVNGENCO3 continues to promote solutions to improve operational efficiency. The corporation completed 10 out of 10 economic and technical targets as planned; completed 5 major repair projects 13 days ahead of schedule, saving approximately VND 151 billion in costs compared to the plan. Mastering many specialized repair technologies, replacing foreign experts, and refurbishing equipment have helped the corporation save tens of billions of VND each year.
In the field of investment and development, EVNGENCO3 has implemented construction investments totaling over VND 5,400 billion, while also completing surveys and research reports for many new power plant projects such as the expanded Srêpốk 3 Hydropower Plant, the expanded Buôn Kuốp Hydropower Plant, and floating solar power projects. The corporation has also accelerated investment procedures for LNG gas-fired power plants and flexible power projects to prepare for a new development phase in line with the energy transition orientation.

Scientific and technological activities, innovation, and digital transformation continued to be promoted. During the year, the entire Corporation implemented 128 scientific and technological initiatives and projects, generating approximately VND 74.3 billion in benefits; completed 22 out of 22 digital transformation tasks for the 2023-2025 period; deployed the ERP system; developed smart power plant models, and applied artificial intelligence in operational management.
Another important highlight is environmental protection and the development of green production. EVNGENCO3 maintains strict control over exhaust gas and wastewater treatment systems, continuous automatic environmental monitoring, and surveillance cameras in coal storage and ash disposal areas. Environmental parameters are transmitted directly to state management agencies and are always ensured to be within permissible limits. In particular, the Corporation has consumed 100% of the ash generated during power production, contributing to reducing storage pressure, promoting the circular economy, and improving resource efficiency.
As of the end of May 2026, EVNGENCO3's power production reached 11.091 billion kWh, equivalent to 40.1% of the annual plan. The generating units maintained high availability, ensuring sufficient coal, gas, and oil fuel for power production, always ready to meet mobilization requirements, especially during the peak dry season.
Furthermore, EVNGENCO3 continues to improve corporate governance efficiency, complete the equitization settlement, restructure large loans, and has been ranked among the Top 20 best annual reports in the non-financial sector for two consecutive years. These results create an important foundation for the Corporation to continue its sustainable development, enhance its competitiveness, and achieve its growth targets in the coming period.
