The 110kV South Thanh Hoa City Transmission Line and Substation Project, located in Thanh Hoa Province, is a Level II, Group C energy project. The project is scaled: a double-circuit 110kV transmission line using ACSR-300mm² conductors, supplying power to the 110kV South Thanh Hoa City Substation, with a length of 45m. At the same time, a new 110kV Substation with a capacity of 2x40MVA (one machine is installed in this phase) is being constructed. The project is included in the Power Development Plan of Thanh Hoa Province for the period 2016 - 2025, with a view to 2035.

The project has a total investment of nearly VND 53 billion, and was started on June 3, 2024, in Quang Cat ward, Thanh Hoa city (now Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province).
The project has been completed and officially put into operation since April 1, 2025, meeting the power demand for the Southern Thanh Hoa City area (before the merging) and neighbouring medium-voltage loads; at the same time, contributing to load sharing for 110kV substations. The project helps optimize grid connection, increase operational flexibility, reduce power loss, and improve reliability in power supply.

This is also the motivation for Thanh Hoa PC to continue to innovate, create, and strive to best serve the electricity needs of the people and the socio-economic development of the province.
