EVNPECC1: Striving to overcome difficulties and develop market

On January 16, in Hanoi, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 (EVNPECC1) held a conference to review the work performance in 2024 and deploy the plan and tasks in 2025.

Regarding market development, in addition to the hydropower sector, in 2024, the Company developed the thermal power and grid market. Along with favorable hydrological conditions for electricity production at Song Bung 5 Hydropower Plant, the Company has made adjustments to operational governance and management at this plant. The total revenue of the Company in 2024 reached 105% of the annual plan.

Regarding consulting activities in the past year, the Company participated in key power source projects such as Hoa Binh Hydropower Expansion, Ialy Hydropower Expansion, Tanahu project in Nepal, etc. The Company also provided consulting support to investors in managing the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant contract and surveyed the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Center. Regarding the power grid, the Company participated in the projects of the Quang Trach - Pho Noi 500kV line, circuit 3, the Phu Binh 2 220kV substation and connecting lines, the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV line and the expansion of the Thanh My 500kV substation, etc.

In addition, the Company is piloting an EPC project with EVNPECC1 as the General Contractor, which includes surveying, designing construction drawings, supplying materials, and constructing and reinforcing the box canal section of A Lin B1 Hydropower Plant.

In 2024, the Company completed merging units to centralize work management. The Company also established the Surveying and Testing Center, and the Hydropower and Renewable Energy Center based on merging units.

To accelerate the application of technology in production, the Company has developed and approved by the Board of Directors a plan to develop and apply BIM in the field of design survey for the period 2022-2025. Up to now, the implementation is being carried out and flexibly adjusted to achieve the highest efficiency.
