Ha Giang PC brings national grid to homeland's northernmost point

On December 20, Ha Giang Power Company (Ha Giang PC) held the inauguration and energization of the Project of Constructing a new low-voltage grid (the Project) for the northernmost point of Ha Giang province (Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district).

In 2024, with the due attention and close, drastic direction of the Northern Power Corporation, Ha Giang PC, Dong Van Power Company and Lung Cu commune, combined with the consensus and support of the people, the Project for the northernmost point was implemented with a length of more than 1.8km of 35kV line, with a total cost of nearly VND 7 billion. After more than 2 months of construction, the Project and some off-grid households were successfully connected to the grid.

The Project, when put into operation, will help people use a stable power grid and meet all the electricity needs of tourists when visiting and traveling here. At the same time, it will open up good opportunities for people to escape poverty and develop the local economy.
