That was the information at the online meeting of the HPEP project site on the construction results in October and the implementation of the plan for November. The meeting was held on November 5 in Hanoi, chaired by EVN’s Vice President Pham Hong Phuong.

According to Mr. Bui Phuong Nam, Director of PPMB1, in October, thanks to favorable weather conditions, PPMB1 and the contractor effectively organized construction measures at the HPEP project site.

Accordingly, the concrete construction of the water intake gate reached 100% of the plan; the concreting of vertical well No. 1 reached 223% of the plan, well No. 2 reached 100%; the concrete construction of water tunnel No. 1 reached 142%, the concreting of the foundation of water tunnel No. 2 reached 112%, and so on.

Concluding the meeting, Vice President Pham Hong Phuong requested that PPMB1 focus on resolving procedures related to site clearance; reviewing and adjusting technical designs; detailed construction plans for the 500kV connection line, etc. The forces at the construction site continue to coordinate smoothly, maintaining the project's good progress to generate power in 2025.
