According to Power Project Management Board No. 2 (EVNPMB2), alongside accelerating the pace of construction, equipment installation, and commissioning, HSE management has consistently been identified as a key priority for the project. To date, no serious workplace accidents or environmental incidents have occurred during the project's implementation.

To ensure safety at the construction site, EVNPMB2 and the contractors regularly conduct site inspections, review working conditions, identify safety hazards, and promptly implement corrective measures. Occupational safety training and awareness-raising activities are consistently maintained for the workforce, particularly for roles subject to strict safety requirements.

Alongside occupational safety measures, comprehensive environmental protection solutions are being implemented across various areas of the project. Efforts to control dust, maintain site cleanliness, manage construction materials and waste, and complete the surface drainage system are being enhanced to minimize environmental impact and ensure proactive preparedness for the rainy and storm season.

Components essential for safe operation, such as fire protection systems, warning and monitoring equipment, and incident response plans, are also being comprehensively reviewed and finalized. For systems currently undergoing trial runs, relevant units are intensifying equipment inspections and operational assessments to ensure the testing process proceeds safely and stably.

The QT1TPP project has currently reached an overall completion rate of over 99%. Specifically, Unit 1 is proceeding with trial-run activities to meet the scheduled target for commercial operation, while technical preparations are underway for Unit 2’s upcoming trial run milestones.

The QT1TPP project comprises two units with a total capacity of 1,403MW; it is a key power generation project for the electricity sector, contributing to the national power grid and meeting the socio-economic development needs of the Central region and the country as a whole.
