SEMS is the 4th product of CPCEMEC recognized by EVN. The products were recognized in 2022 including the CPCEMEC electronic meter; Fast charging station for electric cars; Incident indicator and warning device on medium voltage grid and Power grid incident warning system. This is a recognition and affirmation of CPCEMEC's efforts to create and apply technology to optimize the management and operation of renewable energy, helping to realize the policy of automation and digital transformation in EVN.
SEMS (Solar Energy Management System) is a distributed rooftop solar power monitoring and control system, designed to meet the needs of rooftop solar power system management of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) in particular and Vietnam Electricity in general.

Main features of SEMS:
- Real-time monitoring and warning: SEMS provides instant data on system performance, and promptly issues warnings when abnormalities are detected.
- Control: SEMS supports automatic control, allows setting operating parameters, and scheduling operations remotely.
- Statistics and reporting: SEMS provides detailed reports, and supports management and decision-making.
- Customer interaction: SEMS enhances connectivity and information exchange with customers using solar power.
SEMS is not only a technological solution, but also effectively solves practical problems in managing and operating rooftop solar power systems:
- Diverse connectivity: SEMS is the first system in Vietnam connecting to all popular inverter types, including ABB/Fimer, SMA, Fronius, Huawei, Sungrow, Solis, GoodWe, Kehua, etc.
- Unified application: SEMS becomes a rooftop solar power management tool, and is applied uniformly throughout EVNCPC.
- Automated capacity control: SEMS automatically controls the mobilization of rooftop solar power generation capacity, helping to increase operational efficiency.
- Power quality improvement: SEMS supports reactive power compensation and frequency adjustment, improving power quality.
Currently, SEMS has been deployed to manage 241 rooftop solar power works with 486 inverters in EVNCPC's area. The system is being handed over to EVN Information Technology and Telecommunications Company (EVNICT) to become a shared rooftop solar power monitoring and control system for the entire EVN.
