At 9:50 p.m. on September 28, 2025, the dry-air insulated GIS cabinet was successfully energized at the EEMC 22kV substation.

From September 18 to 28, 2025, engineers from the Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) and Vitzro Electric (South Korea) conducted surveys, testing, and installation, successfully completing the dry-air-insulated GIS system.

For many years, SF₆ (Sulfur Hexafluoride) gas has been widely used in GIS switchgear systems in Vietnam due to its excellent insulating properties. However, because of its very high Global Warming Potential (GWP), the use of SF₆ is now being increasingly restricted worldwide. Keeping up with advanced technological trends, EEMC and Vitzro Electric have pioneered the adoption of dry-air GIS solutions - a safe, environmentally friendly technology that aligns with the green and sustainable development orientation.

Vitzro and EEMC engineers conducted gas charging and testing of the dry-air GIS equipment at EEMC’s laboratory prior to installation.

This marks an opportunity for EEMC to further develop and apply modern, safe, and environmentally friendly products in line with global trends.
