Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation introduces 500kV Transformers at Tech Connect Forum in Australia

As part of the Vietnam–Australia Science and Technology, Innovation, Investment, and Education and Training Forum (Tech Connect Forum), held in Sydney, Australia, on August 10, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) participated in the exhibition and showcased its flagship transformer products.
The forum was held in conjunction with the state visit to Australia by General Secretary and President To Lam.
At the exhibition area, EEMC showcased two models of 500kV power transformers, including a 500kV–300MVA transformer from a 500kV three-phase transformer bank rated at 3×300MVA, and a 500kV - 467MVA generator step-up (GSU) transformer. These are flagship products demonstrating EEMC’s capabilities in the research, design, manufacturing, and testing of extra-high-voltage transformers.

Through the event, EEMC strengthened its brand promotion, connected with Australian partners, and expanded cooperation opportunities in power grids, renewable energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
In 2025, EEMC successfully exported a 132kV–70MVA power transformer for the Clements Gap BESS project in Australia, laying an important foundation for further expanding its presence in this market.
