Previously, on the night of July 31 and the early morning of August 1, heavy rain and flash floods occurred consecutively, causing serious damage to the medium and low voltage power grid system. Many roads were cut off, and some villages were isolated, making it difficult to inspect and handle such incidents.

Thanks to the strong direction from the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), close coordination on site, and the spirit of continuous on-call duty and tireless efforts of officers and employees, the entire power grid in the flooded area has been completely restored.

Along with troubleshooting, the Electricity sector continues to coordinate with local authorities to support people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production, while strengthening inspections to ensure safety in electricity operation and use after natural disasters.
