Phu Yen PC installing meters without charge to each household in Tan Dinh village
Twenty-four households surrounded by mountain sides have lived in the circumstances of flickering oil lamp in Tan Dinh village since 1988. Even though the item of power supply to Tan Dinh village has been included in the national power supply project of Phu Yen province in the period of 2015-2020, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2015, over many years, the locality still has not been able to arrange capital sources. Facing the urgent demand from the people, Phu Yen Power Company took the initiative and advantage of its funding source to invest in power grid for Tan Dinh village. The item has a total investment of nearly VND 2 billion, newly constructing 2km of 22kV transmission line, 1km of low-voltage transmission line and one 100kVA substation.
The work of power supply for Tan Dinh village was completed and power pillars in straight lines were installed in each alley, house, thanks to the capital from Phu Yen Power Company.
Director of Phu Yen PC, Mr. Thai Minh Chau said that the greatest meaning of this project is supplying power from the national grid to the final point of Phu Yen province. Phu Yen PC has installed meters and transmission line after meters for households without charge here with the total cost of more than VND 50 million. 24 households in Tan Dinh village have been supplied with stable power source for production - business and living activities. The people also enjoyed benefit from customer care services of the Power sector as other areas across the country.
Chairman of People’s Committee of Hoa Tan Tay Commune Pham Phi Lenh said that the commune supplied power would attract many investors and in the near future, this area was expected to become a tourist attraction, strongly developed area of animal husbandry. The power not only enlightened faith, but also the tie linking the community cohesion, opening many new business directions, facilitating people to improve their material as well as spirit life.
