3M (anytime, anywhere, anything in Vietnamese) are the criteria that Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) sets for its fundamental transformation into a digital enterprise by the end of 2022. What benefits does this bring to the corporation and its customers?

In the period of 2020 - 2022, EVNHCMC will focus all resources to carry out digital transformation with 4 pillars: customers; assets; employees; data. EVNHCMC will apply digital technology and information technology in all activities including power distribution, sales and customer service, striving to basically complete the digital transformation process by the end of 2022.

Over the past years, the promotion of information technology and digital technology application of EVNHCMC has resulted in high efficiency in production, business activities and corporate governance. The digitization of business and customer service has brought many benefits to both the power industry and its customers. Up to now, EVNHCMC has delivered level 4 online electricity services, including signing power purchase agreements in electronic form; paying electricity bills online; diversifying transaction channels, taking care of customers on digital platforms such as website, Zalo, EVNHCMC Customer Care App on mobile phones, etc. Most recently, EVNHCMC has introduced the application of the Voice Brandname program, helping customers better identify the EVNHCMC brand name. Since early September 2021, the corporation has put into use electronic business cards (e-Namecard), which is also a solution to prevent counterfeiting of employees of the power industry.

Regarding technical activities, at present, 100% of 220kV substations have been remotely monitored; 100% of 110kV substations and 22kV grids have been remotely controlled. EVNHCMC is also a pioneer in the power industry in smart grid development, making an important contribution to improving the reliability of the power supply. From now to 2025, the corporation will continue to complete and upgrade the application system of technical management of power plants and power grids (PMIS); automating 75% of the power distribution grids by 2022; application of artificial intelligence AI in image processing and recognition technology to check and analyze the operating status of the grids, etc.
