On the USABC’s side, there were representatives of 10 US businesses who are members of USABC operating in the energy sector in Southeast Asia.
The Chief Representative of USABC in Vietnam expected that EVN and businesses in the US business community would have more cooperation opportunities, especially in renewable energy, battery storage, training of highly qualified human resources or safety, environment, and sustainable development solutions.

At the meeting, EVN’s Chairman Dang Hoang An highly appreciated USABC's activities in Southeast Asia in general and in Vietnam in particular. The EVN leader also expressed his hope that the two sides would continue to promote the existing good relationship and affirmed that EVN welcomed all cooperation ideas from US businesses under USABC.
Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors Dang Hoang An emphasized the huge need and potential for cooperation between EVN and US businesses, especially in the field of renewable energy, technology transfer in building energy storage systems, or investment in developing power transmission grids according to Power Development Plan No.8, with the aim of fulfilling the commitment to net zero emissions by 2050, towards the goals of effective energy transition and ensuring national energy security.
