All the agenda items set out with the theme "Human resource strategy to adapt to the energy transition and digital transformation" of the meeting have been completed.
Speaking at the closing of the meeting, Mr. Wahizan Abdul Rahman - Head of HAPUA Working Group No. 5 emphasized that the 10th meeting has achieved the set objectives. Good experiences and useful recommendations have been shared in the presentations to build an action program for sustainable energy development in the region in the coming years.
This meeting can be considered a major event in the region, as a preparation step to meet the requirements of improving human resource quality to face energy transition challenges in the future.
One of the outstanding successes of the meeting is the cooperation and coordination among power utilities/authorities of ASEAN countries. Mr. Wahizan Abdul Rahman wished that leaders of power utilities/authorities in the region should unite and work closely together to realize their goals. At the same time, the partnership should be expanded to better benefit every member organization and the whole ASEAN region.
Mr. Wahizan Abdul Rahman thanked EVN - the host of the meeting - for being very attentive, hospitable, attentive to the delegates and successfully organizing the meeting.
Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Head of the Organization and Human Resources Department of EVN said that this is the time when the countries in the region need to mobilize resources to develop high-quality human resources to contribute to the energy transition and clean energy development. Mr. Tran Viet Anh emphasized: "I hope with the solidarity of ASEAN, with the spirit of innovation and creativity, human resource development efforts to adapt to the energy transition and digital transformation of ASEAN countries will achieve the set targets”.
