The 110 kV Yen Dinh substation and line project consists of new construction of a 110 kV substation with two 40MVA - 110/35/10 (22 kV) transformers; 0.2 km of 110 kV double circuit line, 1.35 km of 35kV line and 1.7 km of 10 kV line connected to the existing 35 kV network of Yen Dinh district to feed the Alena Shoe Factory and areas in Yen Dinh district via 110 kV Yen Dinh substation.
The project has a total investment of more than VND 90 billion invested by EVNNPC. Thanh Hoa Power Company was assigned by the project owner to perform the entire procedures of work construction and investment management. The project is expected to be energized in the first quarter of 2017.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Quang Thanh – Chairman of EVN Board of Members stressed that the commencement of the 110 Yen Dinh substation and line has a great significance. Upon the completion, the project will ensure a safe, stable and reliable power supply for Yen Dinh district, ensure power supply for factories producing construction materials in industrial parks and Alena shoes factory in accordance with the revised power development planning of Thanh Hoa province.
The project also ensures the target of reducing the supply radius of the 35 kV, 22 kV, 10 kV network, eliminating 35/10 kV Quan Lao substation, improving the supply quality, reducing transmission losses and enhancing the efficiency of power sale of Thanh Hoa Power Company, creating a ring circuit to support the power supply among the adjacent areas such as Thieu Hoa, Vinh Loc, Cam Thuy districts.
The investment for the 110kV Yen Dinh substation and line is has a great significance not only in sufficiently supplying power, increasing power supply reliability for Yen Dinh district, but also supporting the province in attracting investment, creating good conditions and removing difficulties for businesses.
