Delegates performed the groundbreaking ritual ceremony of the Hung Ha 2 110kV substation and its branch circuit project
The project is expected to be completed and energized in the fourth quarter of this year.
Hung Ha 2 110kV substation and its branch circuit project involves building a new 0.05km long 110kV double-circuit power line; building a new 110kV substation with two transformers (2x40MVA); equipped with control, measurement, communication and SCADA systems, surveillance cameras and automatic fire protection, etc., meeting the criteria of an unmanned substation.
After coming into operation, Hung Ha 2 110kV substation and its branch circuit will ensure power quality, improve power supply reliability for industrial clusters, parks and loads in Hung Ha district; create flexible power supply medium-voltage loop circuits with neighboring 110kV substations.
The work also contributes to reducing power supply radius, reducing voltage loss of medium voltage network in the area; creating flexibility in power supply and convenience in management and operation, the basis for renovating, developing and re-planning the existing regional power network system; in accordance with Thai Binh province's power development plan for the period 2016-2025 with a vision to 2035 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
