Muong Cha 110kV substation
The work is built with the criteria of an unmanned substation, installation of surveillance camera systems of automatic fire protection, construction of distribution control houses, and so on. The project includes a scale: new construction of 110kV substation with 02 transformers (phase 1, installation of 01 transformer 110kV-25MVA – 110/35kV; installation of equipment for 110kV, 35kV bays; construction of information system, SCADA system connected to the Northern Power System Dispatch Center and Dien Bien Provincial Remote Control Center in the future.
When the Muong Cha 110kV substation is put into operation, it will improve the stability and reliability of the power supply for Muong Lay town and the districts of Muong Cha, Nam Po and Muong Nhe of Dien Bien province; overload protection for Dien Bien 110kV substation.
The project also contributes to reducing the power supply radius and power loss, improving the power quality for the power grid in the Muong Cha district and surrounding areas.
