The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation and managed by Power Transmission Company No. 4 on behalf of the project owner.
The project scope includes a replacement of 125 MVA transformer AT2 by a 250 MVA transformer at the existing 220 kV Ben Tre substation located in Hamlet 1, Son Dong commune, Ben Tre city, Ben Tre province, with a total project cost of more than VND58 billion.
The project helped enhance the capacity of 220 kV Ben Tre substation, meeting the load demand and supporting socio-economic development of the province and the neibouring areas.
The 220 kV Ben Tre Substation Capacity Upgrading project is in accordance with national power development plan for the period 2011-2020 with vision to 2030 and the power development plan of Ben Tre province.
