KEPCO is now managing thousands of power MW and the power distribution and transmission system in its country. In other countries, KEPCO is performing 31 large-scale power projects in 18 countries.

In Viet Nam, since 2012, KEPCO has performed 3 thermal power projects (Nghi Son 2, Long An 2, Song Hau 3), 1 renewable energy project (Ninh Thuan wind power).
At the meeting, the leaders of 2 corporations discussed about hi-tech power projects like smart network, back-up battery that are being implemented in Korea.
EVN General Director Dang Hoang An asserted that smart network is still a new aspect in Viet Nam and hoped that KEPCO would continue to cooperate with EVN with the expectation that, in the near future, Viet Nam can perform and apply this new technology.
