The project has been invested by National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and implemented by Power Transmission Company No.4 (PTC4) to ensure safe and reliable power supply for HCMC and surrounding areas in the dry season.
Aiming at maintaining the quality and minimizing the construction period, PTC4 has mobilized its entire work force to work day and night and even holidays to complete the work as scheduled.
Mr. Phan Le Vinh - Head of Production Engineering Department of EVNNPT said that, with the efforts of units, the time to replace the transformers was about 15 days shorter than other similar work. It proved PTC4’s expertise and organizing capability of implementing the project of upgrading AT1 500kV transformer at Phu Lam substation and the experiences gained from this project could be applied to similar projects of EVNNPT.
