"Customers are the center of all activities of the power industry"

This statement was delivered by the President and CEO of EVN – Mr. Dang Hoang An at the 100% Online Electricity Service Announcement Ceremony, held on December 21, 2017 at the Head Office of Vietnam Electricity (11 Cua Bac , Hanoi).

EVN’s President and CEO Dang Hoang An affirmed that the customer service is a key and decisive factor in the sustainability – oriented development of EVN. Customers are the center of all activities of the power industry.

With that motto, during the past years, EVN has marked a strong transformation in customer service, changing the thinking from "pure electricity supply" to "electricity customer care".

Up to November 2017, Vietnam Electricity has directly supplied electricity to over 25.6 million customers nationwide, with 99.98% of communes / wards / towns and 11 out of 12 island districts having electricity directly supplied by EVN.

According to Mr. Vo Quang Lam – Vice President of EVN, the efforts to improve the quality of EVN's electricity supply services have been recognized by the society and community.

According to an independent survey, the average level of customer satisfaction in the whole EVN has steadily increased over time, from 6.45 / 10 points in 2013 to 7.69 / 10 points in 2016.

The announcement of 100% online electricity service marks a new progress of EVN in bringing electricity service closer to customers. The entire 20 unified electricity services of EVN will be available online through customer care websites of 5 Customer Care Centers and at the "EVN & Customers" column on the website of Vietnam Electricity.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dau Anh Tuan - Head of Legal Department of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) congratulated Vietnam Electricity for its outstanding achievements, especially in improving the electricity getting index and customer services.

At the ceremony, the delegates executed a symbolic action to activate the provision of 100% online electricity services. Starting from today (December 21, 2017), in order to access the services provided by the power industry, customers need to visit 5 Customer Care websites or "EVN & Customers" column on the website of Vietnam Electricity (evn.com.vn). Then, through the customer care systems of the power industry, local power companies will receive requests, contact with customers and handle the requests under the motto "Electricity for customers".
