Development of software systems for common use in EVN

The conference on "Developing software systems for common use in EVN" took place in Lam Dong on August 17, 2018 brought up many orientations in information technology development of Vietnam Electricity in the coming time.

Reporting at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Director of Information Technology and Communication Department of EVN stated that: Recently, the development and application of common software systems in EVN achieved positive results, serving well the management, operation, business and construction investment activities of the Group.

Some outstanding common software are Human Resource Management System (HRMS); Financial / Material Management Information System - FMIS / MMIS; Investment Management System; Customer Management Information System (CMIS); Electronic Invoice System; Power Generation and Network Technical Management System, etc.

The conference aimed to provide many directions for EVN's IT development

In the coming time, EVN will focus on building the overall architecture, technology standards, data structure of software shared in the Group, ensuring their integration and expansion in the future. The shared software or software developed by member organizations should adhere to the architecture, technology standards and the general data structure of the Group.

At the same time, EVN aims at applying Big Data, WebService, DataBus, CIM and international standards to link and integrate data of common software systems in the areas of engineering, investment, finance, business, etc.

EVN will deploy software that meet requirements for the provision of electricity services, which is equivalent to public administrative service level 4, such as receiving online requests, signing online contracts, online payment, etc. At the same time, EVN will strengthen the training of human resource and develop a team of internationally accredited IT specialists to meet new requirements.
