In the past time, typical digital transformation solutions in the office sector at EVN and its member units aim to increase labor productivity and provide paperless office administrative services at any time, anywhere, on any device, which has created convenience for employees and towards transparency in management activities.
Specifically, as of 30 September 2021, at EVN, 100% of employees have used the D-Office system; 90% of documents are digitally signed; 99% of documents are issued through the internal communication axis to EVN’s member units.
Also in the first 9 months of 2021, there were 444 online meetings; 468 Video conferences, significantly reducing the number of times the units had to directly gather for meetings at the corporation's headquarters, reducing travel and accommodation costs, etc. The zoom meeting application by Multi-point connection with solutions to ensure information safety, security encryption is used often, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, many meetings can connect thousands of attendants.
Improving skills, digital thinking

In the digital age, office workers need to equip themselves with specific skills such as proficiency in office computing; proficiency in software for office work; proficiency in mobile devices. In addition, the indispensable thinking about digital technology is named Digital first (priority given to find ways and solve problems with digital tools) and Digital Innovation (innovative thinking, always looking for ways to improve, optimize workflows (processes) through digital tools).
In addition, a number of other important solutions were also discussed at the workshop such as: building sanctions and automatic assessment and scoring in the office block for individuals and units throughout EVN; creating mechanisms and motivations to encourage, creatively seek for digital transformation ideas, and reward and appraisal for collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to and are at the forefront of digital transformation, and so on.
Some indicators according to EVN's Digital Transformation Master Plan on office work:
- 100% of leaders at all levels, experts of Electricity of Vietnam are equipped with a remote working system and online meeting;
- 100% of employees with responsibilities and duties are granted digital signatures and applied in internal management applications/transactions;
- 100% of documents permitted by law are digitized in the form of data and stored, applying new technologies to exploit and analyze the digitized information;
- 90% of business procedures in the office block will be digitized, connected and documented in paperless form by 2022 and 100% by 2025.
