Following the direction of the Prime Minister and in compliance with the Master Plan on Restructuring and Rearranging Enterprises under EVN for the period 2017 - 2020, EVN has worked out an implementation plan and approved a Plan on Restructuring and Rearranging Nine Corporations under EVN, at the same time directing its member organizations to grasp and disseminate the positions, objectives and contents of the Plan to all their staffs.
EVN has completed procedures for registering changes in its business lines; completing procedures for transforming the Information and Communication Technology Center into the Information and Communication Technology Company.
EVN has also approved and instructed the National Power Transmission Corporation, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, Hanoi Power Corporation to establish and run service companies separately from power transmission and distribution network operation and management segments; currently, projects of three power corporations of the North, Central and South are under consideration.
EVN has reviewed, modified and developed its internal management regulations and procedures in line with requirements and tasks in the new context, including issuance of regulations on environmental protection, regulations on bidding in case of using production and business expenses, regulations on asset and capital management, regulations on scientific and technological activities, etc.
Regarding the equitization process, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has submitted the Power Generation Corporation 3 equitization plan to the Prime Minister for approval. As for Power Generation Corporations 1 and 2, EVN has undertaken enterprise value calculations according to instructions of relevant ministries and agencies.
