The online meeting between EVN and Sembcorp on 1 March 2022
On 1 March 2022, the two parties had a discussion on how to improve the reliability and stability of the power system; in the meeting, delegates enthusiastically discussed the smart grid, stability of the power system, main challenges of the Vietnamese power system, etc.
Experts from Sembcorp highly appreciated the efforts of EVN’s member units in developing smart grids; at the same time, they shared experiences in developing smart grids, which Sembcorp has effectively implemented in many countries in the world.
Other main subjects of the working sessions on 2 - 3 March 2022 included: Development and optimization of renewable energy projects; development of Dung Quat Power Center and exchange of experts. The two parties will exchange and discuss to come up with effective solutions to concretize the subjects in the Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation in electric power area signed on 27 November 2021.
