EVN's units in the Central region have worked hard to overcome consequences of natural disasters to recover power supply to customers after floods.
On 22 October, 2020, many areas were still deeply flooded in Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces. Quang Binh, Quang Tri Power companies (under the Central Power Corporation) had to proactively interrupt more than 730 distribution substations to ensure safety.
As planned, the units will urgently supply electricity to flood-affected areas as soon as water recedes and the traffic is through, following the guideline "restore power supply as soon as water drains" and ensure the safety conditions for people and the equipment; at the same time coordinating with localities in helping people in propagating power safety after flood recedes.
