The Chairman of EVN’s Member Council emphasized that the Quang Trach - Doc Soi 500kV transmission line in the cluster of 3 500kV power grid projects was the key work of the country and the urgent one in the National power development planning, with the target of transmitting power from Quang Trach Power Center to the national power system; while strengthening the transmission capacity of the 500kV grid connecting regions. Thereby, it has made a significant contribution to ensuring power supply for the South in the coming period, as well as brought an important meaning in the economic operation of the power system.
Leaders of Vietnam Electricity require units on the construction site to actively create and find all solutions to overcome their difficulties and challenges for on-schedule completion of the project.

+ Newly constructing nearly 742km of 500kV double-circuit transmission line running through 9 provinces/cities (Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang City, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai)
+ Newly constructing 08 500kV bays at the switchgear of Quang Trach Power Center
+ Expanding some 500kV bays at 500kV substations of Vung Ang, Doc Soi and Pleiku 2
+ Newly constructing 03 stations for optical communications repeaters and 03 operating management houses for power transmission teams
