EVNCPC needs to race at top speed and become a leading power corporation in Southeast Asia

It is the instruction of EVN's General Director Tran Dinh Nhan given at the summation conference of works in 2020 and implementation of tasks in 2021 of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) on 29 January, in Danang city.

Excellent completion of the tasks in 2020

The commercial energy output of EVNCPC in 2020 was over 19.1 billion kWh, reaching 100.09% of the plan assigned by EVN. In particular, power loss on the power networks was only 4.65%, 0.02% lower than that of the same period, 0.05% lower than planned. System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) was 362.5 minutes. SAIDI during the 2016-2020 period reduced at an average of 329 minutes a year.

Currently, in 13 provinces in the Central and Central Highlands, the whole EVNCPC has 21 hotline teams (to repair electricity without interrupting power). This is the first distribution corporation in EVN to have control of 110kV transformers.

EVNCPC also implemented successfully the "Year of Industrial Safety" with the result of not having any occupational accidents. This result was especially praised by EVN's General Director Tran Dinh Nhan.

In addition, EVNCPC had made many advances in business-customer service. Electricity access time was only 2.06 days/project, 4.94 days shorter compared to the plan assigned by EVN. In particular, EVNCPC had exceeded all the targets of online services assigned by EVN, in which the percentage of customers using online power supply services at level 4 reached 88.7%. EVNCPC is the leading corporation in the whole EVN in providing electricity services through the National Public Service Portal. EVNCPC had also developed customer care channels through applications (apps), Facebook social networks, Zalo ...

Regarding the power network modernization roadmap, EVNCPC had installed more than 4 million electronic meters. Nearly 92% of customers had installed electronic meters.

In construction investment, in 2020, EVNCPC completed 415 power projects, of which, there were a number of key projects, such as Central Solar Power Plant (50MW), Power supply by underground cable across the sea for Nhon Chau island (Binh Dinh province), ...

Race at top speed to the leading position in Southeast Asia

In 2021, EVNCPC needs to follow close and implement digital transformation under the year’s theme of EVN.

For production and business targets, EVNCPC needs to continue to improve the reliability of the power supply. In which, SAIDI in cities must be lower than 50 minutes. EVNCPC also needs to be prepared for managerial and technical solutions to operate the power system with the participation of rooftop solar power in 13 Central provinces-Central Highlands.

EVNCPC needs to continue to promote innovative research, promote the application of science and technology and use effectively the achievements of the 4th Industrial Revolution, implement the Digital Transformation plan in all fields, the spearhead of which is the Technical Management and Business-Customer Service. Along with that, EVNCPC needs to continue to ensure the salary, material and spiritual lives of its employees.
