The contest was launched in October 2020. In nearly two months of deployment, we received 699 contest works from 408 authors who are design experts, architects, painters, design units, students of graphic design and fine art universities and individuals nationwide, the contest organizer said.
After two rounds of the preliminary and final examination, the Board of Examiners selected 23 excellent works to participate in the online voting round via the contest’s Fanpage. As a result, the First prize worth VND 50 million was awarded to author Nguyen Duy Thanh from Hanoi with the logo design and slogan ‘Power saving habit acquired from application’.
The contest is aimed at propagating and disseminating Directive 20/CT-TTg dated 7 May 2020 of the Prime Minister on enhancing power saving in the period 2020-2025; At the same time, implementing the National Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy in the period 2019–2030. The contest succeeded in spreading the spirit of ‘joining hands to save energy for sustainable development’ to the community, creating a strong and positive communication effect.

EVN will use this Logo and Slogan widely nationwide to communicate about the economical and efficient use of electricity.
