Muong La 220kV Substation
The project, which was commenced on 11 October 2019, is invested by EVNNPT with a total investment of VND387.14 billion. The project is managed and operated by CPMB, Power Transmission Company 1 will take over and operate the project after completion.
The project will have a scale of construction and installation work of two new 220/110/22kV-125MVA transformers. In the first stage, one transformer has been installed. A 220kV branch including three positions, was connected in transition on the 220kV power line from Son La 500kV Substation to Son La 220kV Substation.
The project will ensure power supply for Son La province, collect power output from small hydropower plants in Son La province and neighboring areas for exporting to the national power system.
The project also helps reduce the load of Son La 220kV substation, strengthen system connection, improve power safety, reliability and power quality in the regional power grid.
