“EVNHCMC will constantly make improvement for increasingly better customer services”

This is the confirmation made by Mr. Nguyen Van Ly - Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) at the Conference on disclosure of activities in Customer Gratitude Month 2018 on 4 December 2018.

In December 2018, the Corporation will organize many such outstanding activities as: Conducting industrial hygiene free of charge in substations for more than 120 production customers; supporting in rooftop solar power installation for 5 schools; repairing and replacing of transmission lines, LED lights for more than 400 poor, policy households and schools; donation of 200 gifts for poor families, policy households; organization of voluntary blood donation named “EVNHCMC Red Week”, etc.

Additionally, the Corporation also organizes a program to welcome the 200,000th customer installing the App., of EVNHCMC’s customer care and the 400,000th customer joining the EVNHCMC page on Zalo App., with a  total value of over VND 100 million.

With the guideline of “Customers are our Existence”, over the past many years, EVNHCMC has paid special attention to innovating and improving the quality of customer services such as: Diversifying forms of electricity bill payment so that customers can pay at anytime and anywhere; reforming administrative procedures in electricity business activities with the criteria of “Easy to access - Easy to join - Easy to monitor”; deploying 100% online electricity services, etc.

The Corporation has promoted the application of advanced science, technology and equipment such as deploying automatic meter reading (AMR), tending to developing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI); deploying live-line repair technology; applying remote control technologies, contributing to improve the power supply reliability, satisfying customers, etc.

Most recently, with the results surveyed in Ho Chi Minh City, the Doing Business (the World Bank) study group has ranked Viet Nam’s access-to-electricity index at 27th out of 190 countries/ economies - increasing by up to 37 levels compared to 2017. This achievement has been gained thanks to great contribution and efforts made by EVNHCMC.
