Typhoon No. 3 caused several failures on the 220-500kV power grid, mainly concentrated in the Quang Ninh and Hai Phong areas. Immediately after the Typhoon passed, EVNNPT requested Power Transmission Company 1 to mobilize maximum human resources, working through the night to handle the failures caused by Typhoon No. 3 most quickly.

In addition, with the target of supplying safe, reliable, stable power and being ready to support other units, EVNNPT sent a working team under the direct direction of the Deputy Director of Power Transmission Company 1 to participate in supporting the supply and replacement of damaged equipment at the 220kV distribution yard of Uong Bi Thermal Power Plant to restore the plant's power generation.
