Mr. Sung Su Pha, head of A Che village, said: A Che village has been waiting nearly 20 years to access grid electricity. The joy of the people of A Che village has been amplified when receiving the national electricity in the days preparing to organize the great national unity festival.
A Che is a border village being established under the population deconcentrating program to protect the national border. The village is 38 km from the center of Thu Lum commune, and 100% local residents are Ha Nhi ethnic people.
The electrification of the village will promote socio-economic development, ensure national security and defense, improve the quality of life of local people, and at the same time contribute to increasing the ratio of the number of villages, hamlets, and households having access to the national grid electricity in Muong Te district in particular and Lai Chau province in general.
