A section of 220kV Long Phu Power Center - Soc Trang transmission line
The project is invested at a total of over VND 604 billion by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT). The project is managed and operated by The Southern Viet Nam Power Projects Management Board (SPMB).
The transmission line will transmit the capacity of Long Phu 1 Power Plant to the national power system, strengthening the power supply capacity for load of Soc Trang, Hau Giang provinces, Can Tho city and neighbouring areas; at the same time combine with the 500-220kV transmission lines in the area to form a stable and reliable link system among power centers and load areas.
