Ho Chi Minh City: More than 64% of customers pay electricity bills via electronic forms

More than 90% of customers of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) have paid electricity bills through banks and intermediary organizations; 64.25% of which have paid via electronic forms.

The Corporation strives to terminate collection of electricity bills at home by the end of 2017. At present, EVNHCMC collects electricity bills at home only in special cases such as elderly, lonely people; at the same time, giving advices to customers electricity bill payment forms, electricity bill collection locations closest to customers so that customers can select suitable payment methods.

EVNHCMC has cooperated with 22 banks and 9 partners to collect electricity bills. Accordingly, customers can pay electricity bills at more than 6,468 collection locations outside the collection system of the corporation, at convenience stores, post offices, Saigon Co.op supermarkets, Viettel stores, Vien Thong A stores and 2,202 ATMs; monthly bill payments can be made via Internet / Mobile / SMS Banking or automatic debits; or via the cskh.hcmpc.vn website.

The electricity bill payment through banks and intermediary organizations provides many advantages to customers; at the same time, securing the confidentiality of customer information and data of power companies.
