EVNHCMC cooperated with the local authority to organize propaganda, training for Management boards of living quarters, population groups, residential areas in departments, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Unions, Women Unions of localities, etc., in electrical safety, fire and explosion prevention due to power using in households.
The Corporation develops bulletin boards, panels at residential quarters; check electrical safety, fire and explosion prevention at production establishments, petrol stations, shopping malls, ATM machines, amusement parks, out-door advertising boards, etc., to strengthen the propaganda efficiency.
The contents of commitment to ensure electrical safety, fire and explosion prevention due to power using were also supplemented to the living power purchasing agreement. Thanks to synchronously implementing solutions, from the early beginning to March of 2018, there have been no new violations of the power grid right of way; labour accidents, electrical accidents in residents and incidents causing serious fire and explosion.
In 2017, EVNHCMC surveyed and provided consultation on safe electricity use for 15,756 households, reaching 116% of the year plan. In 2018, this work will continue being implemented by the Corporation and member units in order to prevent the risks of fire and explosion due to power using, enhance the awareness among people of safe electricity use .
