PC Da Nang is one of 3 units invited by the USS Carl Vinson Aircraft carrier to visit and work on board with them on the occasion of the Aircraft carrier’s friendly visit to Da Nang Port.
At the meeting, Mr. Ngo Tan Cu - Chairman cum Director of PC Da Nang PC thanked the officers and crewmen for the warm reception to the Company's delegation.

Da Nang PC’s leader said that the company would cooperate with relevant units to support as much as possible to create the best conditions, ensuring continuous, safe power supply for activities of cultural and expertise exchange between the US Navy with the government and the people of Da Nang city.
PC Da Nang proactively prepared related plans as well as set up the priority method at the places where the exchange programs, events take place. At the same time, back-up generators at Tien Sa Port were arranged and officers were signed to execute on any duty at places serving the US Navy delegation during their visit and exchange in Da Nang.

The friendly visit took place from 5 to 9 March 2018. This is the first visit paid by an American aircraft carrier to Vietnam, identified as a crucial remark with symbolic image in the bilateral relationship between the two countries and expressed the support by the US for strong, prosperous and independent Vietnam with efforts, mutual respect and by handling the past issues together with orientating towards a better future. USS Carl Vinson is a Nimitz-class warship operating by nuclear energy.
USS Carl Vinson is compared to a “floating city” on the ocean, with 333 meter long, 77 meter wide and 106,000 tons in full-load displacement, becoming one of the largest battleships in the US naval history.
The personnel of the aircraft carrier include 5,000 crewmen, including 3,000 permanent sailors and 2,000 regular members under the Aircraft carrier Squadron.
