In February 2018, water supplied for most of hydropower reservoirs throughout the country continued to be maintained at a better level than the average value of many recent years. EVN optimally exploited hydropower - thermopower generation, at the same time, supplied adequate power for socio-economic development of the country and people's daily activities.
The Group ensured water supply requirements for downstream areas of localities, especially for farming activities in Winter - Spring crops. Son La, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang and Thac Ba hydropower reservoirs supplied a total water volume of 5.74 billion m3 for their downstream areas, serving the soil preparation for farming in the Midlands and Northern Delta provinces.
In March 2018, EVN requires its affiliated power plants to improve their availability, promptly complete their repair activities as planned, prepare adequate fuel, materials, equipment and human resources to meet the mobilization requirements of the National Load Dispatch Center.
The average power output of the entire system in March 2015 is estimated at 577 million kWh/day with the maximum load capacity of around 29,710 MW.
