The project of Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School with a total area of over 3,000 m2 comprising a 3-storey classroom building with 12 classrooms, 2-storey multi-purpose classroom building with 8 classrooms, 2-storey school board office building with 6 offices, two 3-storey boarding houses with 21 rooms, a service house for teachers, 1 multi-purpose sport house, kitchen and auxiliary facilities.

EVN’s Vice President Vo Quang Lam said: This project will contribute to creating favorable conditions for improving people's intellectual level, creating successive sourcing personnel for remote, isolated and extremely difficult areas in Son La province. The project expresses the gratitude of EVN to the people who have ceded their lands and residences to Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant.
The project is invested by Son La Power Company, at the authorization of Viet Nam Electricity and Son La Provincial People's Committee. Since the construction commencement days, Son La Power Company has regularly monitored and directed construction companies to ensure proper design and quality of each construction item.

After more than 2 years and 3 months since the project had been approved by the provincial People's Committee, by December 2018, all the project items were completed with satisfactory quality and on schedule, facilitating the study and life of more than 500 ethnic minority students.
Delegates visited and inspected the quality of facilities in a new classroom
Having a new and spacious school, teacher Lo Xuan Dua - the School Principal, was deeply moved and thanked the attention of the Party, State and Viet Nam Electricity.
Taking this chance, Son La Power Company donated VND 100 million to the school for equipping more computers for the study of teachers and students of Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School.
The project not only meets the needs of teaching, learning and living of children of ethnic minority groups in Phu Yen district, but also indicates a profound humanity value, demonstrating hearts of tens of thousands of electricians devoted for people in the Northwest provinces in general.
This is also one of the meaningful activities of Viet Nam Electricity in the Month of Customer Appreciation in 2018.
