In the field of information technology applications, EVN has upgraded and efficiently exploited the shared software systems serving management, production and sales of power such as: E-Office system, customer, financial, material information systems, electronic billing system; metering dada center; investment management, grid and generation technical management software.
From the beginning of the year 2017, many power companies in the country have promoted science and technology application in the management. Typically, Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) has promoted computerized information receiving of new power connection from customers, which are made online through different channels such as the company's Website, the website of the customer care center, customer care application on smartphone , phone calls ...
From 1 June 2017, EVNHANOI was officially released online services in different levels. Especially, when paying installation fee for service connection, the customer only needs to provide the code requiring new power service connnection, they will be exempted from all fee due to cash payment with simple procedures.
The customers who register to buy electricity can select mode of payment for paying service connections through 12 banks cooperated with EVNHANOI; employees who survey for service connections or at the transaction office of the power companies. Currently, the application of EVNHANOI customer care has been programming on all three operating systems iOS, Android and Windows Phone, the application was brought up the Apple App Store, can make download and install in devices running iOS operating system.
Together with EVNHANOI, Ho Chi Minh city Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) also promote the application of science and technology in collecting remote metering data. Thanks for that, the productivity of metering recording and reading is improved and customers can monitor their electricity consumption. As of July 2017, EVNHCMC has completed the installation of measuring system for 100% of the measurement points of the coming source, and synchronized data with these measuring points and the same time conducted remote metering for 98% of big customers with large power consumption.
