Power supply for 57 households in Ten U village, Son La

Son La Power Company has just energized the rural electricity project of the national grid for the period of 2016-2020 to supply power for lighting 57 households in Ten U village, Chieng So commune, Song Ma district, remote and extremely difficult localities of Son La province.

This is a project under the rural power supply project of the national grid of Son La province in the period of 2016-2020, invested by the Department of Industry and Trade, and managed by Son La Power Company. The project was commenced in January 2021, with the scale of construction of a transformer station with capacity of 50kVA, 3.3km of medium voltage lines, 3.6km of low voltage lines and a power metering system to each family.

This is an area with rugged terrain, andextremely difficult to commute. Therefore, until now, 57 households in Ten U village living in this Ten U mountain range have been invested in the national grid. After more than three months of construction, the project was completed to ensure the powersupply for people here. It is known that up to now, the percentage of households using the national grid in Song Ma district is the lowest in the province, reaching 95.1%. It is expected that by the end of 2021, Son La Power Company is expected to complete two more bidding packages, with nearly 900 households in hamlets of communes: Muong Cai, Muong Sai, Chieng Khoong, Huoi Mot, Nam Man, and Na. Nghiu, Nam Ty, Chieng So of Song Ma district will be supplied power from the national grid.
